Sanjiv was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in August 2007 and as a General Public Notary for the State of Western Australia in December 2012, by the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Sanjiv has previously worked as a solicitor in India for more than 16 years in the High Court of Delhi & the District Courts of Delhi.​
